In this role youll be working to provide a high level of support to the Finance Payroll department. The position will involve supporting the accurate and timely processing and completion of payroll and expenses transactions. Youll be working as a member of the wider finance team on a range of finance tasks, data input and reconciliation. Youll have the opportunity to take responsibility for specific assigned areas of payroll, expenses or benefits processing.

Finance Assistant Role:
A Finance Assistant, or Finance Clerk helps handle the companys day-to-day financial matters. Duties include overseeing the company ledger, organising accounting documents and managing company payroll.
Other Duties:
- Processing and paying invoices
- Preparing and distributing checks to employees and vendors
- Processing bank transfer requests
- Completing and submitting tax returns, VAT returns and National Insurance contributions
- Checking and updating ledger balances
- Scanning, filing and logging account documents
- Updating computerised accounting systems
