Durham County Councils Connected Carers team believe every child deserves to grow up surrounded by love, family, and a sense of belonging. When a child or young person is not able to live with their birth parents, the Connected Carers team assesses relatives and friends who may be able to care for them. They also make sure connected carers have the support they need to provide a safe and nurturing home.
