We are seeking an analytical and organised Finance Assistant to join our team. The Finance Assistant will support the finance department by performing various administrative, financial and IT tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical aptitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Finance Assistant Role:
A Finance Assistant, or Finance Clerk helps handle the company’s day-to-day financial matters. Duties include overseeing the company ledger, organising accounting documents and managing company payroll.
Other Duties:
- Processing and paying invoices
- Preparing and distributing checks to employees and vendors
- Processing bank transfer requests
- Completing and submitting tax returns, VAT returns and National Insurance contributions
- Checking and updating ledger balances
- Scanning, filing and logging account documents
- Updating computerised accounting systems
