Financial Planner Role:

A Financial Planner, or Financial Adviser is responsible for providing clients with expert financial advice to encourage financial growth and stability. Duties include recommending pension plans, managing investment portfolios and developing financial forecasts.

Other Duties:

  • Advising individuals on the best savings accounts, best interest rates and best opportunities to expand their existing wealth through banks and other financial tools
  • Managing client investment portfolios to ensure continued stability and growth of wealth funds
  • Recommending pension plans and retirement schemes on an individual basis and on a company-wide basis
  • Assisting clients to become financially solvent, avoid debt or consolidate existing debts into more manageable payments
  • Analysing finances and providing clients with financial forecasts for the future
  • Keeping informed and up to date on current market trends and predictions
  • Developing relationships to retain clients and grow their client base 
  • Working within the financial laws and regulations of the UK
