INDEPENDENT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVISOR (SUPPORT WORKER): North East Lincolnshire Women’s Aid
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our ever-growing team of IDVAs. You will ensure victims and survivors of domestic abuse receive an excellent standard of support. You will manage referrals, carry a caseload of clients, provide drop-in services and offer a pro-active front-line service to all victims of domestic abuse. Safety is paramount to this post, and you will be involved in support planning, safety planning and risk assessing clients that may be low, medium or high risk and who have very varied needs including clients with complex needs. This is a 24 hour service and you will need to participate in an on-call rota that will be undertaken by staff across all support projects. (Approx. 1 or 2 nights per month).
