Operations Director Role:
A Director of Operations, or Operations Director, is responsible for the efficiency of the company’s day-to-day business operations. Duties include organising staff, distributing budgets and setting efficiency, sales and profit targets.
Other Duties:
- Establishing operational tasks, policies and procedures for company employees
- Reviewing existing operations and finding areas for development and growth
- Evaluating members of staff and enacting disciplinary proceedings, where needed
- Hiring outside managers or promoting new leaders from within
- Providing opportunities for staff training, development and advancement within the company
- Upholding company policies and values while leading by example at all times
