Care Home Manager Role:
A Programme Coordinator, or Care Home Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of residential care homes. Duties include creating daily activity schedules, training staff and ensuring the safety of all residents.
Other Duties:
- Providing information and supporting residents, staff and the families of residents
- Creating a comprehensive crisis management plan
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff
- Dealing with contracts, budgeting and fundraising
- Coordinating daily schedules for residents
- Helping residents take part in activities in the local community
- Ensuring that facility quality standards are met
- Monitoring the quality of care provided to residents
