BYSTANDER INTERVENTION PROJECT ASSISTANT: Liverpool Guild Of Students
The Guilds Bystander Intervention workshop aims to improve students knowledge and understanding of sexual misconduct, other types of misconduct and to encourage them to feel empowered to challenge it. The training explores different approaches to intervention and looks at scenarios to explore barriers and enablers to the types of interventions available. Increased knowledge of bystander intervention has shown to lead to reduced incidents, increased reporting and a culture where victims feel supported and empowered.
