Chartered Structural Engineer: JMS Engineers London Ltd

We are looking for a near Chartered Structural Engineer with experience in small to medium-sized residential & commercial projects (basement work an advantage), experience in managing and mentoring small teams of junior engineers with a can-do attitude, who is eager for a new challenge. Someone who is passionate about engineering design and delivery and wishes to develop their career. You will be required to manage multiple projects, whilst building strong relationships with Clients and external design teams in order to move projects along smoothly.

Structural Engineer Role:

Design structures, such as buildings or bridges. Create structural models by using computer-aided design software. Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence. Follow construction safety guidelines. Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications. Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers. Prepare and allocate budgets. Track and report on project progress. Collaborate with contractors and project managers .
