The Deputy Head of Primary shares the professional leadership of the Primary School with the Head of Primary. Working under the overall direction of the Head of Primary, the postholder helps secure high-quality education, strong student outcomes, effective safeguarding and an inclusive culture in which every student and member of staff can thrive. The role combines strategic leadership with visible day-to-day involvement in Primary School life. The Deputy Head of Primary will uphold and promote the Colleges vision, mission, values and learning principles; lead agreed areas of improvement; support the smooth operation of the school; and undertake the professional duties of the Head of Primary during their absence when required.
